Keokuk has a long history of supporting the performing arts.  From the establishment of the Monday Music Club in 1900, Keokuk and the Grand Theater have hosted great musical performances for over a century.

The concept of offering concerts to the public began in 1925 with the creation of the Civic Music Association. This group is considered to be the “parent organization” of the current  Keokuk Concert Association, which continues the rich heritage of offering quality music performance to the community.
